Your Optometrist
Catherine Tromp BAppSc(Optom) is the principal optometrist and co-owner of Noosa Optical with Shane, her husband. She is enthusiastic about a tailored approach to individual eye care and provides the foundation for our cutting edge, independent practice. Catherine is responsible for providing our latest advancements in technology, allowing our team to provide the highest level of eye health care.
Immediately prior to joining Noosa Optical, Catherine held a position as a private practitioner in Far North Queensland for two years. This role involved traveling to remote communities and regional towns throughout FNQ. During her time in FNQ she developed her skills in providing a comprehensive and personalised approach to clinical optometry in all areas of vision care.
Catherine has a particular interest in providing the complete optical solution to her patients. Her aim is to recommend the best solution to meet the specific needs of each individual patient.
While not in the practice, Catherine enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with family.
Catherine is a member of the Optometrist Association of Australia (OAA) and is dedicated to continued education and professional development.
