Noosa Optical Wins National Business Award

Noosa Junction Optometrist, Noosa Optical has been awarded a 2010 Business Excellence Award by Australia’s largest 100% independent optometry group, ProVision.
Owners Shane & Catherine Tromp were surprised to receive the award.
“We only found out a few moments before the award was made, it was a huge surprise to us,” Mrs Tromp said.
“The most exciting part is that we have achieved something really big in our first 3 ½ years, and we’re very proud of that.”
The Tromp’s credit the award to the efforts of team members, Kate Hassell and Danielle Russell, as well and the high standards the company strives to achieve for their Noosa customers.
“It has been a hugely positive result for all of us” says Mrs Tromp, principal Optometrist. “I rely upon my team to take good care of my clients, so I’m really pleased for them that they have been recognised nationally”.
Mrs Tromp said she believed her practice received the award because it focuses on all areas of business, including continual staff training and education, effective business management and providing superior customer service.
“We are very proud to have achieved outstanding scores in ProVision’s national secret shopper program,” Mrs Tromp said. “Our team has consistently scored top marks, and they should be very proud of this.”
ProVision CEO Cam Battaglia said the Award had been carefully considered and acknowledges Noosa Optical’s exceptional performance and provides an example of how a successful independent optometry practice can not only compete, but excel in today’s market.
