At Noosa Optical, we are passionate about the health and wellbeing of your eyes.

We recommend quality eyewear to give you the best vision possible whilst complementing your personality and lifestyle.

You can feel good about choosing our practice over internationally owned optical retailers.

See Your Optometrist Regularly.

Even if your vision is perfect, your eyes are still an
important part of your regular, overall health care.

When you have an eye examination, our optometrists
will assess your vision, the health of your eyes and
look for ocular indicators of general health problems
such as diabetes and hypertension.

Many changes to eye health take place gradually and
often go unnoticed or without obvious symptoms.

Early detection of eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetes and hypertension will allow treatment before permanent loss of vision or even blindness occurs.

If a Vision Problem is Identified

Most vision problems are easily solved.  With an extensive range of frames and spectacle lenses, contact lenses and sunglasses to choose from, our optometrists and eyecare team will recommend the best options based on your lifestyle and prescription needs.

More serious problems will be referred to an Ophthalmologist (specialist eye doctor).

Take an active role in looking after your vision and eye health by having a regular eye test at least every two years.

How can you help?

It is important to tell your optometrist about any vision problems you may be experiencing, including blurred vision, focusing problems or even headaches. Consider also any specific visual requirements you may have at work, home and for sport or leisure activities, such as the need for safety eyewear.
